Few Fewies is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases the tropical intensity of Nectaron hops. Pouring with a deep, hazy shine, it immediately releases punchy aromas of ripe pineapple, fuzzy peach, and tart passionfruit. The grain bill, featuring a blend of chit, oats, and wheat malt, creates a signature pillowy texture that carries these fruit-forward flavors across the palate with minimal harshness. This soft, creamy mouthfeel balances the high hop saturation, resulting in a juicy, approachable profile. The finish is smooth and clean, leaving a lingering impression of sun-ripened stone fruit and tropical nectar typical of modern New Zealand hop expressions.
Appearance. Straw to pale gold (4-6 SRM) with a dense, opaque haze providing a brilliant shine. Supports a thick, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics dominated by tropical and stone fruits. Specific notes of fresh pineapple, sweet peach, and pungent passionfruit lead the profile. Background malt is neutral and lightly bready, with a clean fermentation character that allows the Nectaron hops to remain the focal point.
Taste. Explodes with high-intensity fruit flavors mirroring the aroma; pineapple and peach nectar are prominent. The malt provides a soft, grainy foundation without any toasted or caramel notes. Bitterness is low to medium, serving only to balance the fruitiness rather than dominate. The finish is off-dry and exceptionally smooth, with a lingering tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture derived from the use of oats and wheat. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a smooth, non-astringent mouthfeel. There is a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth consistent with its 6.5% ABV.
