This Saison Extra delivers a complex, tropical sensory experience, elevated by its high attenuation and unique fruit profile. The aroma is highly aromatic, merging the characteristic peppery phenols of a Belgian yeast with the vibrant, tart notes of acerola and the creamy, pineapple-like perfume of cupuaçu. On the palate, a bone-dry, Brut finish showcases the graviola’s subtle sweetness against a background of grainy malt. At 9% ABV, this strong Saison provides a refined alcohol warmth that complements its effervescent, light-to-medium body. It is a sophisticated, rustic ale where fruity acidity and spicy fermentation character harmoniously converge.

Appearance. Pale gold with a slight orange tint (6-8 SRM). Long-lasting, dense, rocky white head with excellent Belgian lace. Clarity is slightly hazy due to the inclusion of fruit pulp.

Aroma. High intensity. Aromatic mix of spicy black pepper phenols and tropical esters. Distinct notes of tart acerola and floral graviola dominate, supported by the creamy, cocoa-pineapple perfume of cupuaçu. Low grainy malt character with no diacetyl.

Taste. Initial impression of tart, acidic fruit from acerola and graviola. Mid-palate features peppery yeast character and low earthy hop flavor. Moderate bitterness that feels firm due to very high attenuation. Bone-dry, crisp finish with a lingering spicy and tropical aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a very high, effervescent carbonation. Noticeable but smooth alcohol warmth consistent with its 9% ABV. Low creaminess from cupuaçu with no puckering astringency.
