This Double IPA radiates a bold tropical character, led by an intense hop profile of Galaxy, Eclipse, and Citra. On the nose, expect a vibrant bouquet of passionfruit, mandarin, and sweet citrus zest, supported by a clean, neutral malt backbone. The palate follows with an assertive, high bitterness that balances a lean, dry body. Flavors of ripe stone fruit and resinous pine dominate the mid-palate, transitioning into a remarkably round, fruity aftertaste that lingers cleanly. Despite its 8% strength, the finish remains crisp and highly drinkable, showcasing the lush hop-forward essence of modern American brewing without heavy residual sweetness.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (SRM 7-10). Forms a moderate-sized, persistent white head with fine lacing. Generally clear, though a light hop haze is acceptable and often present.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring layers of passionfruit and peach from Galaxy, complemented by the mandarin and citrus peel notes of Eclipse and Citra. Background malt is neutral and grainy. Fermentation is clean with very light fruity esters.

Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, clean hop bitterness. Intense flavors of tropical fruit, lime, and resinous pine follow. Malt provides a soft, supportive foundation of lightly toasted bread but remains unobtrusive. The finish is dry and crisp, characterized by a long, round, and fruity hop aftertaste without harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a refreshing bite. A restrained, pleasant alcohol warmth is present, reflecting its 8% ABV without being solventy or hot.
