This Wee Heavy from the Patagonian highlands presents a rich, malt-forward profile defined by a sophisticated blend of roasted malts. Deep mahogany in the glass, it leads with an aroma of toasted breadcrumbs, dark toffee, and subtle notes of caramelized sugar. The palate is greeted by a luxurious sweetness, evocative of English biscuits and graham crackers, balanced by a hint of grainy roast in the finish. Despite its approachable 5.5% ABV, it maintains a chewy, medium-full presence with a notably creamy foam head. Gentle esters of plum and raisin provide depth, while the hop bitterness remains restrained, allowing the indulgent malt complexity to take center stage.
