On the palate, a firm, clean bitterness takes center stage, supported by a lean, cracker-like malt backbone that ensures a crisp delivery. Despite its alcohol-free nature, the beer maintains a snappy, bone-dry finish with lingering notes of grapefruit rind and forest floor. It is a focused, refreshing interpretation of an American IPA, prioritizing hop clarity and a refreshing, bitter bite.
Appearance. Brilliant clarity, medium gold color (~7 SRM). Frothy, persistent white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet featuring distinct notes of resinous pine, grapefruit peel, and subtle tropical undertones. Low, clean grainy maltiness provides a neutral base, free from esters or fermentation byproducts.
Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, clean hop bitterness. Flavors of citrus zest and dank resin dominate, supported by a light, toasted cracker malt character. The balance is decidedly bitter, leading into a very dry, crisp, and lingering hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a crisp, smooth texture. High carbonation provides a lively, refreshing tingle. Completely lacks alcohol warmth, maintaining a clean presence without astringency.
