This Double IPA presents an explosive sensory profile driven by a sophisticated dry-hop blend of Citra, Nelson Sauvin, and Krush. The nose is greeted by a high-intensity bouquet of passionfruit, white wine grape, and zesty grapefruit, transitioning into a palate defined by stone fruit and tropical complexity. Despite its 7.8% strength, the beer remains remarkably drinkable with a clean, supportive malt base that allows the hop varieties to shine. A crisp, dry finish accentuates a firm but smooth bitterness, while the Krush hops contribute modern notes of peach and orange. It is a vibrant, modern interpretation focused on hop purity and aromatic depth.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7-9 SRM). The beer features a moderate-sized, persistent white head with fine lacing. Clarity shows a slight haze, common in modern, heavily dry-hopped versions.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with prominent notes of passionfruit, gooseberry, and crushed white grapes. Layers of pink grapefruit and tangerine are supported by subtle peach esters and a hint of resin. Malt presence is very low and neutral, providing a clean, slightly grainy backdrop.

Taste. An immediate wave of tropical and citrus flavors—grapefruit zest, peach, and melon—dominates the palate. A crisp, low malt character provides a soft, unobtrusive base. Bitterness is firm and assertive but lacks harshness, balancing the hop saturation. The finish is dry and clean with a lingering, resinous and fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate to high, providing a prickly, refreshing lift. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without being solventy.
