This American IPA is a vibrant showcase of Southern Hemisphere hops, delivering a complex sensory profile defined by the interplay of Motueka, Riwaka, and Nelson Sauvin. On the nose, intense notes of crushed gooseberry and white wine grape from the Nelson Sauvin meld with the bright, mojito-like lime zest of Motueka. The Riwaka adds a layer of pungent tropical fruit and grapefruit. Pale malts provide a clean, grainy backbone that allows the hop-forward character to dominate throughout. It finishes crisp and dry with a firm, integrated bitterness, emphasizing the fresh, resinous qualities and unique fruit-forward terroir of these New Zealand hop varieties.

Appearance. Medium gold color (approximately 7 SRM) with a slight, inviting haze. Topped by a persistent, fine-beaded white head that leaves delicate lacing on the glass as it recedes.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of lime, passionfruit, and white wine grapes. A subtle underlying thread of cracked grain and light bready malt supports the complex floral and tropical New World hop profile. Clean fermentation with no notable esters.

Taste. Bold initial impression of citrus zest and gooseberry. The flavor profile is dominated by Motueka lime and Nelson Sauvin’s characteristic grape-like fruitiness. Bitterness is firm and clean, balanced by a light, grainy-sweet malt presence. The finish is dry and lingering with a hoppy, resinous aftertaste and a touch of tropical fruit funk.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture. Moderate carbonation provides a crisp bite, while the alcohol presence is well-integrated, providing only a very light, smooth warmth.
