This collaborative German-French Pilsner presents a sophisticated bridge between tradition and regional hop character. Utilizing a foundation of Perle and Hallertauer Mittelfrüh, it provides the quintessential spicy and herbal backbone expected of a classic German Pils. The addition of French Aramis and Strisselspalt hops elevates the profile with delicate floral notes and a refined, perfume-like elegance. Despite its slightly elevated ABV of 5.6%, the beer maintains a traditional dry, crisp finish with a firm bitterness that lingers pleasantly. The malt character remains supportive, offering hints of toasted cracker and light honey that balance the intricate, multi-national hop tapestry.
Appearance. Brilliant straw to pale gold (3 SRM) with exceptional clarity. Topped by a dense, creamy, long-lasting white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Moderately high hop intensity featuring a complex blend of spicy, herbal, and floral notes. Perle and Mittelfrüh provide earthy spice, while Strisselspalt and Aramis contribute refined floral and light citrus nuances. Low grainy-sweet malt aroma with a faint hint of toasted cracker. Clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial malt sweetness is quickly overtaken by an assertive hop bitterness. Flavors of herbal spice and floral blossoms dominate the mid-palate. Bitterness is medium-high, leading into a very dry, crisp finish. The aftertaste is clean, featuring a lingering bitterness and a touch of minerality.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a crisp, snappy texture. High carbonation provides a refreshing prickle. Very light alcohol warmth is well-integrated and appropriate for its strength. Smooth without astringency.

Pour la collab' aller dans notre micro-brasserie à Mauguio, on avait un peu joué avec les codes en s'asseyant volontairement sur la loi de pureté de Bavière, le fameux Reinheitsgebot, qui stipule qu'une bière n'est composée que de ses 4 ingrédients fondamentaux. Pour la collab' retour à Bamberg, on s'est replié a la règle en ajoutant tout de même notre patte pour une bière à la double nationalité ultra crisp, ultra pintable !
