Blech.Brut Easter Egg is an intensely aromatic Double IPA that showcases a sophisticated, modern hop profile. A massive dry-hop addition of Citra Lupomax and Cryo delivers concentrated lime and grapefruit notes, while Simcoe introduces a classic resinous pine backbone. The inclusion of Tango Nectar and Idaho 7 adds layers of ripe tangerine and stone fruit, further enhanced by the tropical nuances of HBC 520. At 9.5% ABV, this beer balances a firm bitterness with a clean, supportive malt base, resulting in a complex yet drinkable profile that emphasizes modern hop saturation and a crisp, lingering finish.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper with a slight haze common in modern dry-hopped versions. It features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by citrus zest and tropical fruit. Specific notes of Citra-driven grapefruit are prominent, backed by Simcoe’s pine and Idaho 7’s apricot and black tea. HBC 520 adds a subtle floral and berry complexity. Malt is neutral and secondary, offering a faint bready presence.
