Borrowed Time is an intense Double IPA that showcases a sophisticated blend of concentrated hop products. Citra Lupomax and Cryo Pop drive a tidal wave of pink grapefruit, mango, and stone fruit, while Sabro Cryo adds a subtle, creamy coconut undertone. Nelson Sauvin provides a distinctive top note of white grape and crushed gooseberry. Despite its 9.8% ABV, the beer remains dangerously drinkable with a lean, pale malt base that stays out of the way of the lupulin-dense profile. Expect a soft, velvety texture paired with a firm, clean bitterness that lingers into a dry, fruit-forward finish.

Appearance. Pale gold to light orange-copper (7 SRM). Moderately hazy with a dense, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominated by tropical fruit, particularly mango and lychee, alongside notes of coconut, lime zest, and white wine grapes. A neutral, grainy malt sweetness is faintly present in the background.

Taste. Initial burst of sweet citrus and tropical fruit. Strong flavors of pineapple, coconut, and gooseberry follow. Bitterness is firm and assertive but lacks harshness. The finish is remarkably dry for the strength, with a lingering aftertaste of citrus pith and resin.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, almost creamy texture. Moderate carbonation. A noticeable, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without being solventy.
