This Oak Aged Helles Bock presents a sophisticated evolution of the traditional pale lager. A foundation of grainy-sweet Munich and doughy Vienna malts provides a robust, toasted backbone that harmonizes with subtle infusions of woody vanilla and light tannin from its time on oak. Bright, herbal hop notes provide a refined counterpoint to the malt richness, leading to a clean, well-attenuated finish. At 6.4% ABV, it balances substantial body with a smooth, warming presence, showcasing a modern, barrel-matured take on the classic Maibock style that remains both elegant and deeply flavorful.

Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (SRM 6-9); bright clarity with a large, creamy, persistent white head that leaves consistent lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to strong intensity featuring grainy-sweet malt and light toasted notes. The oak aging introduces subtle vanilla and woodiness. Low floral and spicy hop character is present alongside a very clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Dominant grainy-sweet, doughy, and bready malt flavors from the Munich and Vienna base. The oak maturation adds layers of vanilla and a hint of coconut. Moderate hop bitterness provides balance against the malt, finishing moderately dry with lingering notes of toast and fine wood. Clean lager character with no esters.

Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with moderate to moderately-high carbonation. Smooth and clean on the palate with a light, pleasant alcohol warmth and a very slight tannic structure from the oak aging.
