This modern take on a Munich Helles marries traditional German lager craftsmanship with a vibrant, dry-hopped edge. A luminous pale gold body supports a bouquet where the classic grainy-sweetness of Pilsner malt meets the punchy citrus and tropical accents of Wakatu and Strata hops. The aroma reveals fresh lime zest and passion fruit layered over a clean, bready base. On the palate, the mouthfeel is exceptionally smooth, delivering a soft, rounded maltiness that yields to a refreshing finish. Distinctive notes of strawberry and subtle floral spice from the Strata and Wakatu additions provide a contemporary, fruit-forward twist to this highly drinkable classic.
Appearance. Pale gold (4 SRM) with a brilliant clarity. Topped by a persistent, creamy white head that leaves delicate lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate grainy-sweet malt intensity. The hop character is elevated by dry-hopping, showcasing lime zest, passion fruit, and a hint of strawberry. Fermentation is exceptionally clean with no yeast-derived esters.
Taste. Initial impression is moderately malty with a soft, grainy-sweetness. Hop flavors of lime and tropical fruit are prominent but do not overwhelm the base.
