Appearance. Deep gold to reddish-amber; clear to slightly hazy due to the high rye content. Persistent off-white head with good retention and lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of lemon, resinous pine, and tropical fruit like pineapple. A distinctive spicy, peppery scent from both the rye and Jamaican pepper is prominent, supported by a low, clean, bready malt background.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with lemon and tropical fruit flavors. The mid-palate is defined by a spicy, grainy rye character and a unique peppery flick from the allspice. High bitterness (65 IBU) is firm but not harsh, leading to a dry, clean finish with a lingering aftertaste of citrus and pine.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a characteristic oily slickness and slight density from the rye. Moderate carbonation and a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. No significant astringency despite the spice additions.
