This Double IPA delivers an intense sensory experience driven by an layered hop profile. Vibrant notes of pink grapefruit and dried roses from Talus Cryo mingle with the tropical depth of lychee and guava provided by HBC 586 Cryo. Strata adds a complex layer of passionfruit and subtle herbal dankness, while Citra Incognito and Cashmere contribute bright layers of lime, lemon, and melon. Despite its 9.7% ABV, the beer maintains a lean, supportive malt backbone that allows the hop character to remain the focus. A firm but smooth bitterness leads to a dry, lingering finish characterized by citrus zest and resin.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (8 SRM) with a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head that leaves dense lacing; modern versions often display a slight to moderate haze.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring a complex blend of tropical fruit (mango, lychee), citrus (grapefruit), and floral notes (rose). Minimal grainy malt in the background with a clean, neutral fermentation profile and a hint of smooth alcohol.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of passionfruit, strawberry, and lime zest dominate. Moderately high bitterness that is assertive but never harsh. Low, clean, supportive malt character with no significant caramel. Finishes dry to medium-dry with a long, lingering hoppy and resinous aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with a smooth, almost velvety texture. Moderate-high carbonation. Noticeable but restrained and smooth alcohol warmth is present, lacking any astringency or solvent heat.
