Red Rye Redemption is a multi-layered Specialty IPA that centers on the interplay between spicy grain and aggressive hopping. A rich amber malt base provides a sturdy foundation, where the addition of rye introduces a signature peppery bite and slight graininess. Double dry hopping with Chinook and Topaz delivers a robust sensory profile defined by resinous pine, grapefruit, and earthy spice. The palate is characterized by the bold, resinous bitterness of the hops melding with toasted malt and spicy rye notes. It finishes crisp and dry, leaving a lingering, clean bitterness that highlights the unique essential oils of the Topaz variety.

Appearance. Deep amber to copper-red with brilliant clarity. Pours with a dense, persistent off-white to light tan head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Moderate-high hop intensity featuring pungent pine and resinous Chinook notes alongside the tropical, earthy, and citrusy spice of Topaz. A supportive malt backbone offers toasted bread and light caramel, complemented by a distinct peppery rye spiciness and a clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression of firm hop bitterness followed by spicy rye and toasted malt flavors. Hop flavors of grapefruit peel and forest floor are prominent. The medium-high bitterness is well-integrated with the grainy character of the specialty malts. Finishes dry and crisp with a lingering resinous and peppery aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a slight oily silkiness contributed by the rye. Moderate carbonation provides a refreshing bite. Very light alcohol warmth at 5.5% ABV, ensuring a smooth and highly drinkable mouthfeel without astringency.
