This Double IPA presents a vivid aromatic profile led by the distinctive white wine grape and gooseberry notes of Nelson Sauvin. Layers of stone fruit, specifically ripe peach from the Peacherine additions, merge with the punchy grapefruit and tropical mango character of Quantum Citra. Despite its 8% ABV, the beer remains lean and highly drinkable, emphasizing hop saturation over malt weight. The finish is strikingly dry with a firm, clean bitterness that highlights the New World hop complexity, leaving a lingering impression of passionfruit and lime zest.

Appearance. Deep gold to light copper (approx. 8 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a moderate-sized, persistent white head that leaves consistent lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet. Dominant notes of crushed white grapes, nectarine, and bright lime zest. A faint, clean, crackery malt presence stays in the background, allowing the tropical fruit esters and resinous hop oils to shine.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical and stone fruits—mango, peach, and gooseberry—supported by a neutral, soft malt backbone. The bitterness is assertive and firm but lacks any harsh astringency. It transitions into a very dry, crisp finish with a long-lasting aftertaste of citrus peel and resin.

Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with a smooth, slightly oily texture from the heavy hopping. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a prickly scrub that enhances the dry finish. A well-integrated, gentle alcohol warmth is present.
