This Imperial Stout offers an opulent sensory journey, led by a rich tapestry of toasted coconut flakes and roasted hazelnut. The blend of Wyoming and MGP bourbon barrels imparts deep layers of vanilla, charred oak, and caramel, weaving seamlessly into the base's dark chocolate and cocoa profile. At 12% ABV, the warmth is palpable yet smooth, supporting a dessert-like complexity. Expect a decadent interplay of nutty sweetness and roasty depth, where the barrel aging adds a sophisticated, boozy structure to the lush, cake-like character of the malt.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (SRM 40+). It pours with a thick, deep tan head that shows moderate retention, leaving oily legs on the glass as it recedes—a testament to its high viscosity and barrel-aged nature.

Aroma. High intensity and deeply complex. Dominant notes of toasted coconut and hazelnut merge with rich dark chocolate and espresso. The bourbon barrel influence is prominent, contributing vanilla, caramel, and a hint of spicy oak. Subtle esters of dried plum and black currant provide a fruity background, while the alcohol is noticeable but integrated.

Taste. The initial impression is intensely decadent with layers of sweet chocolate and nutty hazelnut.
