This assertive Double IPA delivers a crushing wave of Southern Hemisphere hop intensity. The aroma is dominated by the pungent white grape and crushed gooseberry notes of Nelson Sauvin and Quantum Brite Nelson, layered over the vibrant passionfruit and peach character of Galaxy. Strata CGX adds a refined cannabis and strawberry complexity, cutting through a lean, cracker-like malt base. Despite its high strength, the beer maintains a surprisingly dry finish, emphasizing a firm, resinous bitterness that balances the intense tropical fruit saturation. Clean fermentation allows the complex interplay of these modern hops to remain the focal point, resulting in a potent yet drinkable experience.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (8 SRM) with good clarity. Features a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma characterized by passionfruit, crushed white grapes, and gooseberry. Low, neutral, grainy malt support. Clean fermentation profile with a subtle, smooth alcohol note and light resinous dankness.

Taste. Strong, complex hop flavors of guava, white wine, and tropical fruit. Bitterness is high but smooth and not harsh. Malt flavor is low and unobtrusive, providing a clean, soft canvas. Finishes very dry with a lingering hoppy and resinous aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture. Carbonation is moderate-high. Features a noticeable but well-restrained, smooth alcohol warmth and no hop-derived astringency.
