Robo Sapiens is a contemporary Hazy IPA that showcases a sophisticated hop profile. Featuring a Double Dry Hopped combination of Citra BBC, El Dorado, and Sabro Cryo, the beer delivers an intense sensory experience. The Citra BBC contributes vibrant layers of grapefruit and tropical mango, while El Dorado introduces notes of sweet stone fruit and pineapple. The use of Sabro Cryo adds a unique, creamy complexity with hints of coconut and soft cedar. This medium-bodied ale presents a soft, pillowy texture typical of the style, balancing a low bitterness with a lush, fruit-forward finish that highlights the expressive character of the modern hop blend.
Appearance. Pale straw to light orange (SRM 4-6) with a deep, opaque haze and a luminous shine. Supports a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical mango and pineapple from Citra BBC and El Dorado, complemented by a distinct coconut and cream character from Sabro Cryo. A light, bready, grainy malt sweetness resides in the background with neutral fermentation esters.
Taste. Explosive fruity hop flavors echoing the aroma, specifically citrus zest, ripe stone fruit, and tropical coconut. Low to medium-low bitterness provides a gentle balance to the grainy malt. The finish is off-dry and smooth, leaving a lingering impression of tropical fruit juice without any hop harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate. Displays a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and lacks any astringency or raw starchiness.
