Appearance. Opaque, jet black (SRM 40) with a thick, creamy, deep tan head. Slow-moving legs are visible on the glass, indicating high viscosity and alcohol content.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominant notes of dark, earthy Nicaragua cocoa beans and sweet, buttery toffee. Significant rum character featuring spice, sugar cane, and light oak. Secondary notes of black cherry, raisin, and charred grain with no sharp solvent alcohol.
