Infochemicals is a bold Double IPA that showcases a sophisticated hop profile driven by Citra, HBC586, and Idaho 7. This ale presents an intense sensory array of ripe mango, pithy grapefruit, and resinous pine. The Citra provides a bright citrus foundation, while HBC586 adds layers of tropical fruit and guava, and Idaho 7 contributes a subtle earthy, black tea nuance. A clean, neutral malt backbone allows the hops to dominate without the cloying sweetness of a barleywine. It finishes dry and crisp with a firm, integrated bitterness, embodying a modern approach to the style where high drinkability meets aggressive aromatic saturation.

Appearance. Deep gold with a slight haze (8 SRM). It features a moderate-sized, persistent, creamy white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring vivid notes of pineapple, passion fruit, and bright tangerine. A faint, supportive bready maltiness exists in the background, overshadowed by resinous pine and floral hints. Clean fermentation profile with a very subtle, well-integrated alcohol note.

Taste. The initial impression is an explosion of tropical and citrus fruit flavors; mango and grapefruit are prominent. Hop bitterness is firm and moderately high, yet smooth and devoid of harshness. A light, crackery malt character provides soft support. It transitions into a very dry, clean finish with a long-lingering resinous and hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, almost velvety texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp lift to the palate. A soft, restrained alcohol warmth is present, reflecting its strength without being solventy or hot. No astringency.
