Double Serenity is an intensely expressive Double IPA that showcases a sophisticated hop profile. The sensory experience is dominated by the concentrated citrus and lime punch of Citra and Quantum Citra, which melds seamlessly into the plush, ripe stone fruit notes provided by Peacherine. Riwaka adds exotic layers of passionfruit and a sharp, zesty grapefruit character. Despite its 8% strength, the beer remains lean and exceptionally dry, allowing the hop saturation to shine against a neutral, grainy malt backdrop. It finishes with a firm, clean bitterness that lingers on the palate, inviting another sip of this vibrant, tropical-forward ale.

Appearance. Pours a brilliant gold to light orange-copper with a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head that leaves fine lacing on the glass. Clarity is excellent, though a very faint, modern hop haze is acceptable.

Aroma. Intensity is high, featuring a complex bouquet of tropical passionfruit, ripe peach, and grapefruit. A background of clean, neutral grainy malt is present, supported by a light, smooth alcohol note and a clean fermentation profile devoid of esters.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of citrus zest and stone fruit. Malt flavor is low and unobtrusive, providing just enough support for the high bitterness that remains smooth rather than harsh. The finish is decidedly dry with a long, lingering hoppy and resinous aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, almost creamy texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crispness that balances the strength. A restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, with no hop-derived astringency.
