Rocket Skates is a formidable Double IPA that radiates intense tropical character through a masterful blend of Citra and Mosaic hops. The sensory experience is dominated by sticky pineapple and ripe mango, underpinned by layers of luscious stone fruit and citrus zest. Despite its 9% strength, the malt profile remains clean and supportive, allowing the resinous saturation of T90 and Cryo hop additions to shine. A generous bitterness balances the fruit-forward profile, leading into a dry, lingering finish. This collaboration with FireRock Brewing Co delivers a potent hop experience where the saturation of hop oils creates a vibrant, resinous depth without sacrificing drinkability.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (7-9 SRM) with a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head that leaves significant lacing. Clarity is good, showing only a slight hop haze.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of ripe pineapple, mango, and stone fruit. A supporting citrus and resinous character is present, with a clean, neutral, grainy maltiness in the background. The fermentation profile is clean with a very light, smooth alcohol note.

Taste. Strong hop flavors of tropical fruit and citrus dominate the initial impression. High bitterness is firm but clean and lacks harshness. Malt flavor is low and unobtrusive, providing a soft, grainy base without caramel sweetness. The finish is medium-dry with a long, resinous, and fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from the heavy dry-hopping. Carbonation is moderate-high. A noticeable but well-integrated, smooth alcohol warmth is present, with no hop-derived astringency.
