Remorseless is a vibrant Wild Specialty Beer that captures a striking sensory profile through a massive addition of blueberry puree. Visually arresting with its deep purple hue, the beer leads with an intense aroma of jammy dark fruit and a delicate, unexpected thread of smoky maple. The palate is defined by a clean, lactic acidity that brightens the rich blueberry character, while vanilla provides a smooth, rounding sweetness to balance the tartness. The maple's contribution is more structural than sugary, offering a faint wood-smoke complexity that lingers alongside a crisp, wild-fermented finish.

Appearance. Deep, opaque purple-violet color reminiscent of fresh fruit juice. Pours with a moderate, pale pink head that has fair retention for a sour style; shows light lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics of jammy blueberry and forest fruits. Subtle earthy and smoky notes from the maple syrup intertwine with a soft, creamy vanilla bean presence. Moderate lactic sourness and a very light, clean wild funk are present.

Taste. Immediate burst of tart, jammy blueberry fruit. The mid-palate introduces a unique layer of smoky maple woodiness that contrasts the fruit acidity. Vanilla softens the sharp edges. Low bitterness and no hop flavor. Finish is moderately dry and fruity with a lingering berry tartness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body, enhanced by the viscosity of the blueberry puree. Moderate carbonation provides a refreshing lift. Very low alcohol warmth. A slight, pleasant fruit-skin tannin adds structure.
