Mon$lli presents a vibrant interpretation of the German Pils style, elevated by a slightly higher alcohol presence that adds subtle weight to its profile. The sensory experience is defined by a prominent hop bouquet, blending traditional noble spice with distinctive citrus and earthy undertones. A base of continental Pilsner malt provides a clean, cracker-like foundation that supports the assertive bitterness. This brilliant golden lager finishes exceptionally crisp and dry, driven by a clean fermentation and high carbonation. It captures a rebellious spirit through its sharp, refreshing character and complex aromatic layering of floral and soil-tinged notes.
Appearance. Deep yellow (approx. 4 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a dense, creamy white head that exhibits excellent retention and leaves fine lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderately high hop intensity featuring flowery and spicy notes alongside a unique combination of citrus zest and earthy qualities. Beneath the hops, a low-to-medium grainy-sweet malt character emerges, reminiscent of fresh dough and toasted crackers. Clean, lager-derived fermentation profile without esters.
Taste. Initial soft malt sweetness is rapidly superseded by a firm hop bitterness and flavors of citrus peel and herbal spice. The malt remains lean, offering a cracker-like support before transitioning into a bone-dry, crisp finish. The bitterness is clean and lingers pleasantly into a refreshing, slightly minerally aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a slight increase in texture relative to lower-strength examples. High carbonation provides a lively, scrubbing sensation. Crisp and clean mouthfeel with no astringency or harshness.
