Birrificio Porta Bruciata

This Hazy IPA showcases a vibrant tropical intensity driven by the expressive combination of Talus and Idaho 7 hops. The sensory profile is led by a decisive citrus character, highlighting bright notes of mandarin, sweet orange, and zesty grapefruit. In the background, the Talus hops contribute a distinctive floral complexity and stone fruit depth, while the Idaho 7 adds layers of ripe apricot and a subtle resinous accent. The malt base provides a soft, neutral foundation of grainy sweetness, ensuring the hop-derived 'juicy' character remains the focal point. It is a balanced and remarkably smooth beer with a restrained bitterness and a lush, fruit-forward finish.

Appearance. Straw to light gold with a distinct orange hue; opaque and hazy with a characteristic shine. Features a medium-large, white, meringue-like head with high retention and beautiful lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a tropical medley of pineapple and mango alongside sharp mandarin and grapefruit citrus. Very low, neutral, bready malt presence in the background with subtle fruity fermentation esters that complement the hop profile.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with dominant orange, grapefruit, and stone fruit notes. Malt flavor is low and grainy-sweet. Perceived bitterness is low to moderate and very smooth, never harsh. The finish is off-dry and clean with a lingering impression of tropical fruit juice.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, plush texture. Carbonation is moderate. No alcohol warmth is detected, and the finish is smooth without any hop astringency or raw grain harshness.

Dal colore dorato velato, al naso spiccano sin da subito pungenti e ricche note di frutta tropicale, papaya in evidenza, note di agrumi come mandarino, arancia e pompelmo ben bilanciate da lievi sfumature piney e di tea nero in background. Piacevolmente amara e fruttata al palato, la bevuta è morbida e cremosa, anche qui ritroviamo le note fruttate ed agrumate riscontrate all'aroma. Piacevole ed appagante.
