Le Cascate Luppoline presents as a vibrant Specialty IPA, drawing its character from the lush landscapes of Valganna. A cascade of New World hops defines the experience, delivering a bright, citrus-forward aromatic profile that invites the first sip. The pour reveals a striking deep amber hue with excellent head retention and lacing. On the palate, the assertive bitterness is expertly countered by a robust malt backbone featuring layers of toasted grain and rich caramel. This interplay leads to a clean, notably dry finish where the lingering citrus and firm bitterness provide a crisp, refreshing conclusion to its medium-bodied frame.
Appearance. Deep amber to copper-brown (SRM 14–18). The beer is clear with a persistent, dense off-white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate to high hop intensity featuring dominant citrus notes and hints of resin. The malt profile is supportive, offering moderate aromas of caramel and toasted bread. Fermentation is clean with very low esters.
Taste. Initial citrusy hop flavors transition into a solid malt center of caramel and light toffee. A firm, medium-high bitterness emerges mid-palate and persists into the finish. The toasted malt character provides depth without being burnt. It finishes dry and clean with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, consistent with its 6.3% ABV.
