The sensory profile is led by a refined malt backbone featuring toasty-doughy notes and a whisper of bread crust, typically derived from quality Pilsner and Munich malts. Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops provide delicate, light floral perfumes and a hint of spice that weave through the malty richness without overshadowing it. This deep gold lager offers a smooth, creamy texture and a crisp finish that balances its 5.8% strength with high drinkability. It is a clean, harmonious example of the modern Wiesn tradition.
Appearance. Deep gold color (5 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a persistent, fine, and compact white foam head with excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma. Moderate malty richness with a clear emphasis on toasty-doughy aromatics and an impression of sweetness. Low floral and slightly spicy hop character from the Hallertau Mittelfrüh. Clean lager fermentation profile with no esters or sulfur.
Taste. Initial malt-forward impression of bread dough and soft toasty hints. Medium-low hop bitterness provides supportive balance to the malty richness. Medium-low floral hop flavor is present. Well-attenuated and crisp finish that avoids being bone dry, leaving a clean, malty aftertaste.
