Inspired by the white limestone peaks of Puig Vicenç, this refreshing Weissbier presents a pale gold hue crowned by a voluminous, snow-white head. The grist, featuring both wheat malt and wheat flakes, creates a soft, doughy foundation that defines the sensory experience. This beer is intentionally approachable and simple, focusing on a clean, grainy wheat profile with subtle yeast-driven nuances of banana and clove. The palate is exceptionally smooth and light, offering a gentle sweetness that transitions into a dry, effervescent finish. It captures a crisp, mountain-air purity that emphasizes drinkability over complexity.
Appearance. Pale gold (approximately 3–5 SRM) with a slight haze typical of the style. Features a thick, moussy, and very long-lasting white head with dense lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity with a dominant bready and grainy wheat malt character. Subtle fermentation esters of ripe banana and light phenolic clove are present, with virtually no hop aroma.
Taste. Initial impression is soft and grain-forward, showcasing doughy wheat malt flavors. Bitterness is very low, allowing light banana and clove yeast characters to remain balanced. The finish is clean, relatively dry, and highly refreshing with a short aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a fluffy, creamy fullness on the palate. High carbonation provides a spritzy, effervescent mouthfeel. No perceived alcohol warmth.
