Birra Impavida Pelèr
Birra Impavida Pelèr is a quintessential German Pils that highlights the precision of noble Mitteleuropean hops. The sensory profile opens with a vibrant bouquet of herbal, floral, and spicy notes, characteristic of traditional hop varieties. These aromatics are supported by a foundation of premium German malts, offering subtle layers of fresh bread, light honey, and raw cereal. The experience is defined by its crisp, dry character and an elegant bitterness that cleanses the palate. At 4.8% ABV, the beer remains light and incredibly refreshing, finishing with a lingering snap of floral hops and a refined, clean mineral edge.
Appearance. Pale straw (2-3 SRM). Brilliant clarity. Features a compact, long-lasting, and brilliant white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity hop character with prominent herbal, floral, and spicy notes. The malt backbone is low to moderate, presenting as grainy, doughy bread with a light honey-like sweetness. Clean fermentation profile with no yeast-derived esters or phenols.
Taste. Initial malt impressions of white bread and cereal are quickly overcome by a firm, elegant hop bitterness. Flavors of spicy and herbal hops dominate the mid-palate. The balance is decidedly bitter and crisp, leading into a very dry and clean finish with a lingering floral hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate-high carbonation that provides a lively, refreshing snap. Smooth and clean without any harshness or astringency; negligible alcohol warmth.
