Nerone is a refined Rauchbier that pays homage to the smoked lager traditions of Bamberg. It presents a deep amber hue with copper highlights and a creamy head. The sensory profile is defined by a prominent yet elegant beechwood smoke character derived from Bamberg Rauch malt, interwoven with the toasty richness of Munich and Caramunich malts. Subtle herbal notes from Sladek hops complement the cereal and biscuit backbone. Despite its dark appearance, the beer remains exceptionally drinkable with a slender body and a clean fermentation profile provided by the W3470 yeast strain, finishing with a delicate, balanced sweetness.
