Azacca Bomb is a vibrant Session IPA that belies its low 3.5% ABV with an intense hop profile. Utilizing the Azacca hop variety, it delivers a punchy aromatic bouquet of tropical mango and pineapple, underpinned by resinous pine and a distinct cedar-like woodiness. The no-boil technique preserves a rustic, grainy malt character and contributes a surprising creaminess and roundness to the mouthfeel. Despite its light body, it maintains a structured bitterness that complements its dry, thirst-quenching finish, making it a highly aromatic and refreshing expression of modern hop-forward brewing. It is a sessionable take on the American IPA style.
Appearance. Straw to pale gold (3-5 SRM). Notable haze resulting from the no-boil process. Dense, white head with excellent persistence and fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruits like ripe pineapple and mango. Secondary notes of evergreen pine and spicy cedar are prominent. Low, clean, grainy malt provides a minimal backdrop. Fermentation is clean with no significant esters.
Taste. Immediate hop-forward impression of mango and citrus zest. Low bready-grainy malt flavor supports the hops without adding sweetness. Bitterness is moderate but firm, providing balance to the low-gravity base. Flavors of pine and cedar wood emerge mid-palate. Finishes dry and clean with a lingering resinous and fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a notable creamy, smooth texture that provides a rounder mouthfeel than typically expected for the ABV. Moderate carbonation. No alcohol warmth.
