This award-winning Dunkles Bock presents a masterclass in continental malt expression, leaning heavily on the rich, bready foundations of Munich and Vienna malts. The addition of CaraAmber introduces layers of dried fruit and caramel complexity, while a delicate touch of roasted barley provides a deep, inviting hue without overbearing char. Aromas of toasted crust and Maillard richness lead into a palate that is deeply malty yet remarkably drinkable, balancing subtle sweetness with a clean lager finish. Appearance. Deep copper to dark brown in color with attractive garnet highlights. Displays excellent clarity and is topped by a large, creamy, persistent off-white head.
