Session IPA 4.6 º
Named after the Tyrolean greeting, Bierol Seas is a vibrant American IPA designed as a welcoming introduction to tropical hop complexity. Leveraging a potent dry-hop combination of Galaxy, Cryo Pop, and Citra, the profile is dominated by high-intensity aromas of sun-ripened passion fruit and juicy peach. Despite its approachable 4.6% ABV, it maintains the bold, hop-forward character expected of the style. The palate delivers a crisp, dry finish with a clean malt base that allows the vivid stone fruit and citrus notes to lead. It is a bright, aromatically expressive ale that balances modern hop science with refreshing drinkability.
Appearance. Deep gold to pale amber with a slight, modern haze. Features a persistent, frothy white head that leaves delicate lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity tropical and stone fruit aromas. Dominant notes of passion fruit and peach from the Galaxy and Cryo Pop hops, supported by a bright citrus zest from Citra. Background of clean, crackery malt with a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial burst of tropical fruit flavors, specifically passion fruit and peach, followed by a firm, clean bitterness. The malt character is low, providing a neutral, grainy foundation. Finishes dry and crisp with a lingering citrus and resinous hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, refreshing texture. Moderate to high carbonation provides a crisp bite. Very low alcohol warmth, consistent with its sessionable strength.
