Celebrating five years with a saturated hop experience, this Double IPA showcases a cutting-edge profile driven by Citra (DinaBoost-HyperBoost) and the bio-transformative power of Phantasm. The aroma erupts with hyper-concentrated tropical notes of passion fruit and guava, accented by the bright citrus of Luminosa and the complex floral-berry facets of Audacia and Cryo Pop. Despite its potent 11% ABV, the palate remains remarkably balanced, leaning into a dry finish that highlights aggressive but smooth bitterness. It is a modern masterpiece of hop technology, offering a plush, resin-flecked journey through the deepest reaches of New World hop character.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (7-9 SRM) with slight haze from massive dry-hopping. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Intense hop aroma with a complex bouquet of passion fruit, guava, and mango. Sharp citrus notes of lime and grapefruit are layered over subtle berry and floral tones. Low, neutral grainy malt in the background with a clean fermentation profile and a smooth, noticeable alcohol presence.
Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of tropical and stone fruit flavors followed by resinous citrus. Malt is low and unobtrusive, providing a soft bready foundation. Bitterness is high and firm (approx. 80-100 IBU) but lacks harshness. The finish is dry and crisp with a long-lasting, resinous hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a prickly lift. Notable but well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without being solventy or hot.
