Amarillo Sunrise is a vibrant American IPA that celebrates the harvest with fresh, wet Amarillo hops. It greets the senses with an expressive bouquet of sun-drenched orange and zesty grapefruit, characteristic of the Amarillo variety, underscored by delicate floral notes. The use of undried hops imparts a distinctively green and succulent quality that elevates the hop profile beyond typical dried pellets. A clean, light-colored malt base provides a subtle, grainy sweetness that balances the firm bitterness, leading to a crisp, refreshing finish. This seasonal offering captures a bright, lively essence, making it a quintessential showcase of single-hop brilliance.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale amber (7–10 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a slight, natural haze from the wet hops. Tall, creamy white head with excellent persistence and fine lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by Amarillo. Prominent notes of tangerine, Meyer lemon, and crushed floral blossoms with a slight grassy resin. Very low, clean, grainy malt background.

Taste. Initial punch of citrus peel and resinous pine. Medium-high bitterness is clean and well-integrated. The Amarillo hops provide layers of spicy orange and stone fruit. Finish is medium-dry and crisp with a lingering, pleasant bitterness and a touch of hop oils.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from the fresh hop resins. Moderate to high carbonation provides a lively, scrubbing effect. Very low, smooth alcohol warmth.
