Bidassoa Basque Brewery

This Hazy IPA presents a vibrant orange-yellow hue with striking high turbidity, characteristic of its expressive style. The hop profile is intensely layered, featuring the stone fruit candy notes of El Dorado combined with the tropical pineapple and resinous depth of Vic Secret. Idaho7 adds further complexity with its signature dark fruit and pine character, while Columbus provides a sharp citrus and grapefruit edge with distinct resinous undertones. The medium-bodied structure supports a soft, juicy palate where the fruity esters harmonize with a clean, bready malt backbone, finishing with a smooth, restrained bitterness and lingering tropical fruit impressions.

Appearance. Color is yellow-orange (approx 6 SRM) with a striking high turbidity that borders on opaque. It supports a white, rocky, meringue-like head with excellent retention and significant lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma characterized by grapefruit citrus, ripe stone fruit, and tropical notes of pineapple. A distinct resinous and piney undertone provides depth, supported by a low, neutral bready malt character and subtle fruity fermentation esters.

Taste. High fruity hop flavors mirroring the aroma with prominent peach, mango, and citrus zest. The malt provides a low, grainy sweetness in the background. Bitterness is medium-low but feels softer due to the full body, finishing with a lingering, resinous, and clean fruit character without harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture and no hop astringency. Carbonation is moderate, and at 6% ABV, there is only a very light, well-integrated alcoholic warmth.
