Bertus White IPA is a vibrant hybrid that bridges the gap between a Belgian Witbier and a classic American IPA. The presence of bready, grainy wheat provides a soft foundation for high-intensity citrusy hops to shine. Appearance. Pale straw to deep gold (3–4 SRM). Moderate to high haziness from wheat proteins. Large, dense, white head with excellent persistence and trailing lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent citrus, grapefruit, and light resin. Supported by moderate spicy phenols resembling clove and coriander, with fruity esters like orange and apricot. Low bready, grainy wheat malt character in the background.

Taste. Initial impression of bready wheat flavor followed quickly by high hop bitterness. The flavor profile is dominated by citrusy hop notes and spicy Belgian yeast character. The finish is dry and refreshing with a lingering, clean bitterness and a hint of zesty orange peel.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a creamy, smooth texture from the wheat. High carbonation provides a lively, effervescent sensation. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
