Appearance. Luminous amber to deep copper in color (SRM 9–13). It displays brilliant clarity beneath a dense, rocky white head with excellent retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity with a prominent bready and biscuity malt character, occasionally hinting at light honey. Complementary fruity esters of pear and red apple are present, alongside a low herbal and floral hop aroma. Fermentation character is clean for the style, with only a whisper of peppery phenols.
Taste. Initial soft malt impressions of toasted bread and nutty grain. The mid-palate introduces moderate fruitiness reminiscent of orange peel and lemon. Hop bitterness is medium-low, providing just enough structure to balance the malt without becoming aggressive. It concludes with a balanced to slightly dry finish and a lingering, clean aftertaste of light cereal grain.
