This powerful Belgian Tripel navigates a complex sea of spicy phenols and vibrant fruit. Deep gold with a pillowy white head, it leads with an aroma of peppery clove and citrusy orange esters, supported by a delicate, honeyed Pilsner malt base. Despite its substantial 10.3% ABV, the beer maintains a deceptive drinkability characteristic of its heritage. The palate mirrors the nose, balancing grainy sweetness with a firm hop bitterness and a bone-dry finish. Effervescent carbonation cleanses the palate, while the alcohol provides a well-integrated, warming glow that serves as a sophisticated backbone for the yeast-driven complexity.

Appearance. Deep yellow to pale amber (approx. 6 SRM). Brilliant clarity with high effervescence. Features a long-lasting, creamy, rocky white head that leaves dense, characteristic Belgian lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity with a seamless bouquet of peppery and clove-like phenols. Moderate fruity esters suggesting orange peel and lemon zest. The malt character is light and honey-like, derived from Pilsner malt, complemented by low spicy hop notes and a soft, spicy alcohol presence.

Taste. Initial impression of soft, grainy-sweet malt quickly followed by a wave of peppery yeast phenols and citrusy esters. Medium-high hop bitterness provides a firm structure, leading to a crisp, dry finish. The high alcohol content is well-integrated, appearing as a spicy complexity rather than harshness. Aftertaste is dry with lingering spicy yeast character.

Mouthfeel. Medium body, feeling lighter than the high gravity would suggest due to high attenuation. Highly carbonated and effervescent. Noticeable but smooth alcohol warmth provides a pleasant glow without being hot or fusel.
