NEIPA - New England IPA 6.2 º
This celebratory Hazy IPA presents an opaque, glowing straw-gold appearance crowned by a persistent white foam. The sensory profile is dominated by a heavy saturation of El Dorado, Simcoe, and Galaxy hops. El Dorado leads with bright notes of pineapple and stone fruit candy, while Galaxy introduces a deep layer of passion fruit and ripe peach. Simcoe provides a sophisticated counterpoint of citrus zest and a hint of forest pine. Underpinned by a soft, bready malt character, the palate is exceptionally juicy and smooth, finishing with a restrained bitterness and an off-dry, lingering tropical fruit essence that defines this anniversary release.
Appearance. Deep straw to light orange-gold (SRM 4-6); opaque and hazy with a luminous shine. Supports a medium, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity; a concentrated bouquet of tropical fruit (pineapple, mango) and stone fruit (peach). Bright citrus notes of grapefruit and orange are present. Background malt is clean and lightly bready; fermentation is neutral with supportive fruity esters.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor featuring pineapple, passion fruit, and peach. Low to medium grainy malt sweetness provides a supportive base. Perceived bitterness is moderate but masked by a soft, round delivery. The finish is off-dry to medium and exceptionally clean with a lingering juicy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth, and pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Features a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and no hop-derived astringency or harshness.
