Six Six Sick is a vibrant Hazy IPA that leads with an explosive hop profile featuring Motueka and Citra. The nose is a tropical punch of zesty lime, crushed gooseberry, and bright grapefruit, supported by a subtle, bready malt backbone. On the palate, the experience is soft and pillowy, delivering lush notes of passionfruit and lemon curd that glide over a smooth, medium-full body. The bitterness is restrained and supple, allowing the citrus-forward hop oils to shine through a hazy, straw-colored pour. It finishes clean with a lingering juiciness that perfectly emphasizes the synergy between the New Zealand and American hop varieties.
Appearance. 3–6 SRM; opaque, glowing straw with a hazy shine. Thick, white, rocky meringue-like head with high retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominant tropical and citrus hop character: fresh lime zest, grapefruit, and passionfruit. Background notes of sweet bread and raw grain with a clean fermentation profile and light fruity esters.
Taste. High fruity hop impact with initial flavors of citrus oil and tropical melon. Malt is low, providing a neutral, lightly doughy base. Bitterness is medium-low and smooth, never harsh. Finish is off-dry and juicy with a lingering citrus aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Very smooth with no astringency and a subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
