This Double IPA delivers an intense sensory experience driven by a heavy-handed combination of Sabro, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Citra. The aroma is dominated by the unique coconut and tropical fruit notes of Sabro, complemented by the sophisticated white wine and gooseberry character of Nelson Sauvin. Motueka adds a bright citrus snap of lime, while Citra provides depth with layers of mango and grapefruit. The palate features a clean, neutral malt profile that allows the hops to remain the focal point. This beer balances high hop bitterness with a dry, lingering finish, emphasizing the concentrated aromatic complexity provided by the CRYO hop additions.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7-10 SRM). Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing. Slight haze is acceptable for the style, though it remains bright.

Aroma. Intensity is high, characterized by dominant notes of coconut, lime zest, and tropical fruit. Distinctive vinous qualities resembling passion fruit and crushed grapes are prominent. Malt character is low and neutral, resembling light crackers. Fermentation is clean with minimal esters.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical and citrus hop flavors. Strong lime and grapefruit pith lead into a moderately high bitterness that is firm but not harsh. Malt flavor is low and unobtrusive, providing a soft, grainy backbone. The finish is dry and crisp with a long-lasting, resinous, and fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture from the hop concentration. Carbonation is medium-high. Presents a restrained, smooth alcohol warmth that is well-integrated with the hop intensity.
