The aromatic profile is defined by the classic interplay of Saaz and Tettnanger hops, offering moderate-high notes of spicy herbs and delicate wildflowers. Underneath, a clean foundation of continental Pilsner malt provides a subtle doughy, cracker-like sweetness. The palate is sharply defined by its crispness, where the noble hop bitterness quickly takes center stage against a light honeyed malt backdrop. Its finish is remarkably dry and clean, leaving a lingering flinty sensation that beckons another sip, embodying the tradition of a pale, bitter European lager.
Appearance. Straw to brilliant gold (2–4 SRM); produces a tall, creamy white head with excellent retention and fine lacing; clarity is brilliant.
Aroma. Moderately high intensity of spicy and herbal hop character from the Saaz and Tettnanger; supported by a low, clean, grainy-sweet malt profile reminiscent of fresh crackers or dough; fermentation is impeccably clean.
Taste. Crisp initial impression with a fleeting touch of grainy malt sweetness; quickly superseded by a firm, floral, and spicy hop bitterness; dry and clean finish with a lingering herbal aftertaste; highly balanced toward bitterness without being harsh.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body; high carbonation providing a lively, crisp mouthfeel; no alcohol warmth; smooth but with a refreshing, flinty sharpness.
