NEIPA - New England IPA 6.8 º
This Hazy IPA presents a lush, tropical sensory profile driven by a heavy double dry-hopping of Bru-1, Sabro, and Motueka. The aroma is dominated by ripe pineapple and creamy coconut, accented by a bright lime zest. Its appearance is a characteristic opaque straw-gold with a dense, meringue-like white head. On the palate, the soft, pillowy body delivers concentrated waves of stone fruit and tropical punch, balanced by a restrained, smooth bitterness. The interplay between the coconut-forward Sabro and the citrus-heavy Motueka creates a complex, juice-like profile that finishes clean with a gentle bready malt backbone and a lingering, fruity aftertaste.
Appearance. Straw to deep gold (4–6 SRM). Opaque haze with a luminous quality; thick, rocky white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring grilled pineapple and tropical stone fruit from Bru-1, coupled with distinct coconut and cream notes from Sabro. A bright citrus undercurrent of lime from Motueka is present. Low bready, grainy malt character in the background; clean fermentation profile.
Taste. High fruity hop flavors of pineapple, coconut, and citrus lime. Low to medium-low bitterness that is soft and well-integrated. Malt flavor is low and neutral, providing a bready base that supports the hops without adding sweetness. Finishes medium-dry and smooth with a persistent tropical fruit finish.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky, and pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Very smooth with no harshness or astringency; light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
