This Hazy IPA is a saturated exploration of Sabro, utilizing a triple-dose approach to showcase the hop's distinctive personality. It opens with an explosive bouquet of toasted coconut, ripe pineapple, and creamed tangerine, supported by subtle cedar-like undertones. The palate is a lush, juice-forward experience where the Sabro provides layers of tropical fruit and a unique creamy finish. A soft, pillowy malt base of light grain provides the canvas without adding sweetness. With its signature opacity and low perceived bitterness, this beer delivers a silky, refreshing profile that emphasizes hop-derived complexity over sharp edges.
Appearance. Straw to deep gold (4-6 SRM) with a persistent, dense, meringue-like white head leaving thick lacing. Characteristically opaque with a vibrant, luminous haze, free of sediment or particulates.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward nose dominated by Sabro. Distinctive notes of coconut, pina colada, and tropical stone fruits like apricot are layered over hints of citrus zest. Background malt is clean and lightly bready, with neutral fermentation esters that complement the hop profile.
Taste. Massive fruity hop flavors reflecting the aroma: coconut, tropical lime, and peach. The malt is supportive and neutral, providing a soft bready foundation. Bitterness is low to moderate, well-integrated and never harsh, balancing a medium-dry finish. No caramel or toast flavors are present.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, rounded, and pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. No astringency or harshness is present, with a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth consistent with its strength.
