This Imperial Stout presents a decadent sensory profile defined by its collaboration-driven intensity. A deep, dark grain bill provides a robust foundation of dark chocolate and roasted coffee, amplified by the addition of rich Cocoa Nibs. The sensory experience is further elevated by a lush infusion of Blueberries and Cherries, which impart a vibrant tartness and dark fruit complexity that cuts through the heavy malt sweetness. At 11% ABV, it carries a noticeable yet smooth warmth. The finish is lingering and bittersweet, balancing the velvety, full-bodied mouthfeel with a refined interplay of earthy cocoa and jammy fruit character.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (40+ SRM). It pours with a thick, persistent deep tan head that leaves significant lacing. High viscosity is evident through slow-moving legs when swirled.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominant aromas of bittersweet chocolate and toasted bread from the malt and Cocoa Nibs. Pronounced fruit esters and adjunct aromas of ripe Blueberries and tart Cherries provide a jammy, vinous layer. Subtle earthy hop notes in the background, with a clean, warming alcohol presence.

Taste. Initial impression is a massive wave of dark roasted malt and decadent Cocoa Nibs. This is followed by a complex fruit profile where the sweetness of Blueberries and the sharp tang of Cherries provide balance. Moderate bitterness from both hops and roast ensures a non-cloying profile. The finish is long and bittersweet, evolving from dark fruit to a lingering cocoa and roasted grain aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied, chewy, and velvety. Low to moderate carbonation enhances the creamy texture. A smooth, noticeable alcohol warmth is present, consistent with its high strength, without being harsh or solventy. No significant astringency despite the fruit and cocoa additions.
