Alpha Overload is a high-intensity Double IPA designed to showcase a saturated hop profile through the use of Citra, Manilita, and Motueka. The sensory experience is led by a punchy aroma of fresh lime zest and lemon from the Motueka, transitioning into deep layers of tropical mango and lychee driven by Citra. Manilita contributes a complex stone fruit and crushed citrus character that rounds out the hop-forward profile. This beer maintains high drinkability with a lean, neutral malt backbone that yields to a firm bitterness, finishing dry with a clean, subtle alcohol warmth typical of its 7.8% strength.

Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper with a slight, modern haze. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring prominent notes of lime, grapefruit, and tropical fruit (mango, pineapple). Secondary notes of stone fruit and a light resinous quality. Malt is neutral and supportive; fermentation is clean with no significant esters.

Taste. Strong, complex hop flavors of citrus zest and tropical fruit. Moderately high bitterness that is firm but smooth, never harsh. Malt character is low and cracker-like, providing a soft foundation. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering, clean hoppy aftertaste and a touch of smooth alcohol.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, almost creamy texture. Moderate to medium-high carbonation. Displays a restrained, well-integrated alcohol warmth without any hop-derived astringency.
