This celebratory Hazy IPA pours with a luminous, opaque glow, releasing a saturated bouquet of tropical and stone fruits. The specialized hop trio of Nelson Sauvin, Krush, and HBC1019 creates a multi-layered sensory experience defined by crushed white wine grapes, ripe mango, and caramelized pineapple. A soft, grainy malt backbone provides a neutral canvas for the intense fruit esters to shine. On the palate, a lush, velvety texture carries waves of honeydew melon and zesty citrus, leading into a restrained bitterness that maintains high drinkability. It is a modern, juice-forward expression with a clean, pillowy finish that highlights modern hop breeding.
Appearance. Straw to deep gold (3-6 SRM). Opaque clarity with a characteristic hazy glow. Features a dense, rocky, white meringue-like head with excellent retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring notes of gooseberry and white grape from Nelson Sauvin, paired with mango and guava from Krush. Elements of peach and caramelized pineapple from HBC1019 are prominent. Malt character is low, presenting as neutral, bready, and grainy. Clean fermentation profile.
Taste. High fruity hop flavors of passion fruit, peach, and citrus zest. Low to medium-low bitterness that is smooth and never harsh. Malt flavor is low and cracker-like, supporting the hop oils without adding sweetness. Finish is off-dry and soft with a lingering tropical fruit aftertaste and no hop burn.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky, and pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Very low alcohol warmth. Absence of astringency or mouth-coating hop resins.
