This bold West Coast Double IPA presents an intense sensory collision driven by a powerful combination of Mosaic, Galaxy, and Krush hops. An assertive aroma of tropical mango, guava, and passionfruit intermingles with subtle berry and pine notes over a clean, neutral malt base. On the palate, the vibrant hop character delivers layers of stone fruit and citrus, supported by a firm but smooth bitterness that defines the style's high-impact profile. Its dry finish and light alcoholic warmth ensure high drinkability despite its strength, while a crisp, medium-light body allows the complex hop oils to remain the primary focus throughout.
Appearance. Deep gold to light copper (8-11 SRM) with excellent clarity. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with good lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of mango, guava, and passionfruit from the Krush and Galaxy additions. Secondary notes of blueberry and resinous pine from Mosaic are present, supported by a very low, clean, neutral malt character. Fermentation is clean with only subtle fruity esters.
Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors mirroring the aroma, led by tropical fruit and citrus. Bitterness is high but clean and smooth, balancing a low, unobtrusive malt presence. The finish is notably dry with a lingering hoppy and resinous aftertaste, showcasing a well-integrated alcohol character that lacks harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate to medium-high. Provides a restrained, pleasant alcohol warmth without any hop-derived astringency.
